Event description

NutriSoil together with Soil First Tasmania is bringing - Joel Williams

Keynote Speaker: Joel Williams (Integrated Soils)

Joel is an independent soil and plant health educator who is passionate about designing farming systems that prioritise managing soil biology, along with crop & soil nutrition to optimise plant immunity and soil function, for healthy farm production. His practical application of this philosophy in Australia, UK and Canada has supported his love of teaching and sharing both scientific and practical knowledge on agroecological growing practices. Joel conducts workshops, online courses and lectures internationally.

Soil First Tasmania is a group of like-minded farmers who aim to increase and share knowledge of healthy soil principles. The organisation was established in 2016 and has been active in the farming community over this time holding events such as workshops and Farmer Fridays, that allow knowledge to be learnt and shared.

NutriSoil is a family owned and operated worm farm in North East Victoria. NutriSoil increases the plant’s natural growing mechanisms resulting in bigger root systems, healthier and more resilient crops, pastures and soil. Nutrisoil is used as a seed inoculant, in furrow and as a foliar fertiliser and is suitable on all crops and pastures. The team at Nutrisoil are passionate about helping farmers transition to a profitable low-input farming system that builds plant, animal and soil health for a sustainable future.
